Denise Lueck, Licensed Massage Therapist and Doula in Training
After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Point Park College, I attended the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy. I began my massage career working with Dr. John Wachter, DC. Several years later I began working at Awakenings, and later bought the business in 2010. Aside from work in my office through the years, I've done massage in-home, chair massages in both corporate and social settings, spa parties, networking retreats, and one of my personal favorites, working on the participants at the Life Beaver program, an adult daycare facility.
Specialties beside Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage include Reiki, Fertility, Pregnancy and Postnatal Massage, Cold Stones, Accu-roller, Lomi-Lomi, Arvigo and more.
My approach is health-minded, spiritual and holistic. Each massage is customized to each client's needs to help them leave feeling relaxed, revived and renewed. I'm blessed to have the clients I do, to be doing work that I love, joy for helping people, and the freedom to to be with my 3 children for most all of their milestones!
Sondra Cannon, Licensed Massage Therapist
Sondra Cannon, LMT
I am a 2009 graduate from The Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and 13 years as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
Trained in various techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, N.M.T., Pregnancy massage, Myofascial Release, Reflexology (Vita Flex), Reiki and Active Isolated Stretching.
I have performed corporate chair massage (Massage at Work) since 2014. And I'm an independent contractor for various other corporate events (ACG, GLCC, 3 Rivers Venture Fair) as well as Simply Beautiful Esthetics.
Awakenings Healing Touch allows me to independently work with clients to customize a massage that meets their desired outcome. For example, it may require an entire session of 60-90 minutes to work on the neck and back.
I am a true believer in client "time on the table." An hour massage means one hour of massage. You deserve it!
